After ten successful years at the University of Maryland, Kirwan is delighted to welcome IQRMI to OSU.  The week-long research institute is one of very few in the country that focus on qualitative research methods and intersectionality. It is designed for early career scholars – faculty or post-docs – who have a concrete research project they are working on and who are in the process of establishing their research agenda.

The 2026 IQRMI will take place at Ohio State University from May 31- June 5, 2026.
