Kirwan's Future
Kirwan's Future
For the first time in its history, Kirwan has a 10-year strategic vision and three-year strategic plan. We are grateful to the multi-sector Strategic Vision committee and the Kirwan staff who participated throughout the process.
Dr. Ange-Marie Hancock speaks at the 20th anniversary symposium
We DREAM and we EMPOWER in pursuit of a shared future that brings us TOGETHER.
The Kirwan Institute has never rested on its laurels and constantly strives for the next step in our state’s progress. Our values and mission remain consistent with the legacy of ensuring that our research is accessible for all communities’ use.
There’s More to Do
The state of the Kirwan Institute is strong, but it is not invincible. We are grateful to our funders and donors who make this work possible. If you’d like to ensure that Kirwan’s pursuit of the next generation of research concepts and collaborations with communities continue, please consider donating to our Kirwan Innovation Fund.
Kirwan’s North Star
Today the Kirwan Institute has a renewed sense of commitment to the work that lies ahead. As we look toward Kirwan’s silver anniversary, we continue to be inspired by the energy of all the communities who seek prosperity for all. Both the strategic vision and the strategic plan guides our pursuit of transformative research, collaborative partnerships, and community-centered innovation.
Who We Are
The Kirwan Institute team is organized into three parts: Research, Strategic Partnerships and Outreach, and Operations. We often collaborate on our research with faculty affiliates from across the university and with communities across the country, and count dozens of post-docs and former staff as part of the extended Kirwan network.
