Research Associate
Xiaodan serves as a research associate at the Kirwan Institute, where her primary responsibilities include reviewing and disseminating implicit bias-related literature and facilitating the management of the Implicit Bias Modules Series. Additionally, she conducts research in media psychology, with a specific focus on mental health and social media usage. Xiaodan thrives in the collaborative environment fostered at the Kirwan Institute and appreciates its dedication to community-engaged research. She received her MA from Indiana University, Bloomington, and her PhD from the Ohio State University, both in Communication.
