Black Male Initiative Leadership Convening

The Kirwan Institute and Todd Anthony Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male are hosted an event discussing the significance, the legal landscape of Fisher v. University of Texas, and how it affects Black Male Initiatives (BMI) nationwide.

Members of BMI projects nationwide were invited to learn more about this issue, to understand the Amicus Brief filed by a coalition of BMIs, and to look ahead and plan for various outcomes.

Prof. Sharon Davies, Executive Director of the Kirwan Institute and Dr. James Moore, Director of Bell Resource Center on the African American Male hosted this event.
