Research Associate
Xiaodan serves as a research associate at the Kirwan Institute, where her primary responsibilities include reviewing and disseminating implicit bias-related literature and facilitating the management of the Implicit Bias Modules Series. Additionally, she conducts research in media psychology, with a specific focus on mental health and social media usage. Xiaodan thrives in the collaborative environment fostered at the Kirwan Institute and appreciates its dedication to community-engaged research. She obtained her BA in Animation from Beijing University of Technology, and received her MA from Indiana University, Bloomington, and her PhD from the Ohio State University, both in Communication.
