Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Community Outreach

Kyle Strickland is the Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Community Outreach where he works with the Executive Director and leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, advance the policy impact of the Institute, and build multi-sector partnerships with key university and community leaders.  His research interests include issues related to race and the criminal justice system, economic policy, and democracy. Strickland also directs My Brother’s Keeper Ohio, a statewide network that provides educational and community opportunities for youth of color. Prior to joining the Kirwan Institute in 2016, Strickland earned his BA in Political Science from The Ohio State University and his law degree from Harvard Law School, where he served as student body president.
